App here, click me to find out more!Friends
Harriettis very friendly towards everyone she meets and has a deep caring for even mere strangers. She loves talking to people even if not everything she says is exactly coherent or understandable, and is open minded and accepting. Harriett is oblivious to bad looks, so even if your faced is smashed into your skull, she wont really care.
Enemies
Her enemies would be of course those who aren't appealed by her awkward and plain looks; buck teeth, long unkempt hair, glasses, freckles, etc. Those who aren't appealed by kindness and love. Others might think of her as less intelligent and would probably make fun of her.
Lovers
Harriett has never experienced true love, and has never had a crush on anyone in her entire life. She doesn't know how to be in a relationship and is mostly just herself. Her "other half" would have to be accepting of that, just as she would be accepting of them. Though it would take a lot to realize if she were to love someone, since she doesn't focus on it, even if someone were totally obvious with their love towards her, she probably wouldn't notice. They'd have to actually vocalize their feelings, otherwise go unnoticed.
Other
Best friends, Acquaintance, Fremenies, rivals, family, etc.

I am a terribly shallow person and basically went: Homestuck, Homestuck, Homestuck...
But if we forgot the meta-meta for a second and went back to meta alone, I think Harriet and Daniel could possibly have been friends since First Year. She's too kind, he's too unmotivated and together they are bum dum dum dum duuuuum.... STUDY BUDDIES!
Yeah they probably have their own pose and magical equivalent of a secret handshake going on. They're silly, silly people when they get in their comfort zone.

Hahahaha, well, you're not alone because I did the exact same thing.
I agree, they would have been good friends since their first year, which means they should be best friends with five years running! Definitely silly when they get together. The two probably know just about everything to know about one another, except for probably some deep dark secrets or something, which Harriett doesn't really have any of those! Or does she??? OOOh, this could be some good background development material. *rubs hands together*

Woah! You read my mind right there but I wasn't sure if you'd be gung-ho about the best friends thing and I wasn't sure if it wasn't me going 'HOMESTUCK BUDDIES' and being swayed by that thought alone.
Do you want to set up a past thread or sort of sketch out a rough outline of how they'd have become best friends and what sort of secrets they know of each other? I'm cool with either one though the second is probably going to be a little more convenient in the long run.
Edit: I'm wording things poorly, we could also do both.

We could do both, though we should probably sketch out some things here first, or would you rather chatango PM? It's up to you, really, I'm not good with making decisions.

Do you have AIM or some other sort of messaging program?
What I would sketch out as the important bits are 1) Harriet becoming an animagus 2) Daniel being virtually muggleborn (raised by an eccentric muggle at that) 3) their less than normal speech patterns 4) whether or not either of them were victims of bullying 5) at what point they became study buddies 6) do they get each other Christmas/Birthday gifts? What are they? 7) this list isn't in order but it sounds like a good start for brainstorming.

Alright so from what we have worked out, this is what I gather: Harriett doesn't care about him being virtually muggleborn and is made fun of for it by purists, they were both bullied and that was how they met, they became study buddies when each of their weaknesses was the other's strengths, they do get each other gifts for birthdays and holidays ... And the werewolf idea we were still working with!

so these two would be second cousins, with Hydra being only a year older. I don't exactly see their families having been close, but these two could have gotten together on their own, especially since neither really seems to care about the purist views of blood.

I agree! Perhaps these two could get along quite nicely. :3
