A pureblood with a superiority complex?! What else is new? Lorelai believes that she is superior to most all others in magic due to her strong blood purity and talent. This isn't far from the truth. As a member of the Gaunt famiily, not only is she a member to one of the richest families in the wizarding world (second only to the Malfoys), but she is also an ancestor of the great Salazar Slytherin. Her family thus has in its possession many rare magical heirlooms. Each of which will one day fall into the possession of Lorelai herself, as the selected heiress of the Gaunt Family. Being her friend? It's really not so hard. One must only be incredibly loyal and kind to her. They must also be able to put up with her superiority complex, and if they praise her, even better. In addition, Lorelai returns the loyalty which her friends give to her. She isn't the type to leave a friend behind, even in the most dangerous of situations. Now, it is also important to know that she does not favor or care much for muggles and muggleborns. However, if a muggleborn can put up with her racist comments toward other muggleborns and remain a loyal friend to her, she will make an exception and overlook her friend's heritage. ( RIVALRIES ) Given her heritage and superiority complex, I can see her having many enemies and rivals. Many would be disgusted by her family for their constant inbreeding. Even Lorelai's parents, Carrie and Roger Gaunt, are first cousins. Of course, Lorelai and her family understand that this is the most secure way to ensure that each member of their family remains a parselmouth. Any member who is not a parselmouth is deemed an outcast. While being a Muggleborn does not guarantee that you will be her enemy, it is a significant factor. Unless a muggle-born makes him/herself to be Lorelai's friend, she will not care for them. However, Lorelai does not go out of her way to bash muggle-borns and would say nothing about them outside of her circle of friends unless specifically asked. ( ROMANCE ) Romance? Lorelai's already taken. As the heiress of the Gaunt Family, her marriage was arranged for her by her parents. Third year Patrick Parkinson is to be her husband, and he is to take on the family name, Gaunt. In addition, she has naturally become infatuated with him. Others may still have crushes on her and what not, however she likely won't return the feelings, though she won't necessarily spurn them. She has much more important things to worry about.[/style][style=padding-left: 15px; font-family: ocr a extended; font-size: 9px; color: #B75762; text-align: center; letter-spacing: 15px;]• • •[/style][style=margin-top: 5px; background-color: #63283C; font-family: ocr a extended; font-size: 9px; text-align: center; text-transform: uppercase; line-height: 11px;]THIRTEEN - FEMALE - HETEROSEXUAL - ENGLISH[/style]

[style=font-family: verdana; font-size: 7px; text-transform: uppercase; text-align: center;]SIMPLY ROYAL BY TSU DOLL OF LOVE STAMP.[/style]

Ohhhh, wealthy Slytherin with a well-known reputation? This is definitely someone Bianca would have a so called "alliance" with. I feel like originally Bianca would have only dealt with Lorelai because of her family's prestige, and that is probably something that would always be a factor. Depending upon how surface-level their relationship would be, Bianca would probably see Lorelai as a tool as opposed to a friend (possibly vice-versa as well?).
However, I could see some other things stemming from the two as well. I feel like there may be a small level of competition, but it would be something bubbling between the surface. Although Bianca is not int he slightest a pureblood, she was raised in a wealthy enough family to have learned the art of being a socialite and thus could see Lorelai as somewhat of a threat. On a different note, because they are similar in that they both have superiority complexes, I can see a strange alliance - maybe even seed of a friendship? - blooming. This could be interesting plot-wise, because if both are loyal once their trust is won (especially considering how hard it would be to do so)I can only imagine how close and how strong a pair they could be.
So yeah, just a few ideas thrown out there!

Being that they aren't the same year, if they have a friend-like relationship, Lorelai would probably be the type to look up to her, in a certain sense, as a superior. By this, I only mean as for academics and age. She would respect her. Lorelai still sees herself as being superior in the sense of heritage and lineage, but she could look up to Bianca as for having more experience in schooling. Hope that makes sense.
I would also like to know more about Bianca's public views on the current squib outbreak and muggle-borns.[/style][style=padding-left: 15px; font-family: ocr a extended; font-size: 9px; color: #B75762; text-align: center; letter-spacing: 15px;]• • •[/style] |

I forgot to take into consideration the age difference; that being said, I feel like the relationship you described would be most likely. Since Lorelai is younger, Bianca would have no reason to quarrel with her. I like the idea of Lorelai looking up to her in an academic sense, but feeling superior with her family prestige. With Bianca I feel it would be flip-flopped - although Lorelai is younger, Bianca would still see her as a way to up her prestige by associating herself with a Gaunt. At the same time, she would feel superior in that she would know more academically and intellectually.
Possibly, it could be almost a sisterly-symbiotic sort of relationship? They in a way value each other for different reasons relating to their age and social standing, and at the same time are getting something from each other (at least Bianca is). I feel the only way this would backfire is if one of the two (or even both depending on the situation) would end up trying to use the other.
In terms of Bianca's view on the recent squib outbreak, she leans toward the idea of refraining from further mingling muggleblood with magical blood. She does not really detest the union, nor does she detest mudbloods as she is aware one of her parents was a muggle. Nevertheless, it is not something Bianca is proud of and prefers not to discuss it. She has a tendency to crave associate with the upperclass and purebloods.

Welp, I'm not sure how this would work but I feel that a Daniel Williams should be getting all passive aggressive with someone of that face claim for UNKNOWN REASONS of a MYSTERIOUS SORT.
Probably not going to be a huge deal since I don't see either of them as being particularly interested in associating with the other but it'd probably be fun while it lasted. ^^
