It had been only a few days since the holidays had ended, and Rhonwen's return had only sparked her drive for revenge. While she had been very cheerful during the holidays, she hadn't forgotten what that girl with dark hair had done nor was she planning to anytime soon. Stubborn as she was, the red haired girl planned to get her back for her spell, considering how she had tried to be friendly. Having kindness smacked back at her wasn't what she called fair or polite.
Laying upon her bed, the girl continued to think long and hard about what she'd do. A spell? Maybe a potion? Each one seemed to be an effective way of payback. But which? It had to be something that would really get her point across.
"Think think think! I can come up with something way better than some stupid spell like that! I know it! But what!? Hmm...Maybe something that could make her bald! Oh oh! Perhaps something that could make her sound like a frog when she talks! Heh heh! That's brilliant! Don't you think so Holly?! You know it's great! You don't even have to say anything!"
Looking over her shoulder towards her pet squirrel, the bow wearing creature tilted her head before crawling off the edge of the bed and going towards the window where a small tray of nuts were waiting in a cage.
"Of course! I have to make it first...hmm....I'll need to go to the library! Yes yes! They'll have the book there! Or maybe at least some pointers! But I can't let them know what I'm doing.....Ugh! This is so hard! I can't even pull a prank without getting caught! Ugh!!"
Flopping her head back down on her pillow, the young witch shook her head from side to side as she frowned at her troubles.

Daphne remained in the common room. The Weasley family was back at Hogwarts now that Christmas was over, though, of course, there were still a few more days before all the other straggler students would come back with New Years and all. It really didn't matter much to Daphne. She preferred to be at school where she could have some space. Being cooped up in the Burrow wasn't exactly Daphne's idea of fun for an extended period of time. Plus, there she had to deal with her little sister trying to get into her makeup and borrowing clothing and all of that. Daphne had considered putting curses on her belongings just so that Rhonwen would think twice before touching her things, but Daphne ultimately decided against it. It probably wouldn't be right. That and her mother would get her in trouble.
Regardless, Daphne sat downstairs in the Gryffindor Common Room at a study table. She was hoping to get ahead in potions class in the ambition that by doing so she could make a better grade in potions this term. Her last term hadn't gone spectacularly, though of course some of that was due to the fact she had been placing quite a bit of attention on Monroe and had spend more time putting on makeup than studying. It was funny, really, how much time a tomboy like Daphne spent making herself look pretty. Of course, most of this had to do with the boy.
Daphne pried open her potions book and began reading through some pages. None of this was very interesting. She hated potions for a plethora of reasons. Too many rules. Too many exceptions. Too many steps. She couldn't really care less about the class, or at least she wouldn't if she didn't need it to get any of the prestigious jobs she was hoping for. Perhaps it was a futile effort.

The more she considered all the trouble this idea would cause, the more she started to think how impossible it would be to even go through with it. But, Rhonwen's eyes soon grew wide as an idea came to her. It was such a devilish idea that it made her face express a confident smirk. She even went about giggling like a villain before sitting up on her bed and looking towards her animal companion.
" I know exactly what to do Holly. But it will take a lot of planning and careful timing. But if I know her, she'll be right where I want her to be. Then all I have to do is be as sweet as possible and maybe she'll go for it. Of course, even if she doesn't all I need is to take a peek at one of her books. Just one glance at a potion list and I'll have what I need to know and then....then.....He he he.."
Rubbing her hands together, the red haired girl stood up from her bunk, putting on her shoes and robe as she walked over towards Holly. Picking up the squirrel, the young girl kissed her head and then placed her back into her pen before locking the door.
"Wish me luck Holly! There's no time to lose!!"
Rushing out her room, the red haired teen walked down the stairs quickly, stopping short by the entrance of the commons as she saw her old sibling within. A gleeful smile appeared over her as she knew that she was likely studying. It meant that she might be distracted enough not to notice her looking over her book or even her taking one. It was even possible that she could get her to tell her the potion herself if she was lucky.
Clearing her throat, the girl skipped lightly into the room before stopping beside her sister with a grin. Holding her hands behind her back, she tilted her head side ways she that she was staring directly at her.
"Hey Daphne!!! What are you doing? Are you reading something good!? You usually are! Always so wordy! At least more of the time! That or doing something boyish! Which is fun too! You know you do that stuff alot...at least before you did! Whats with the makeup? You're wearing a lot of it today!? Is there soemthing your trying to hide!? Is it another pimple!? The last one was huge!!! Bigger than the one on Quinn's chin!!"
Rhonwen hoped that she would try and get her to leave her alone. In doing so, it would hopefully get her to say anything to do so...that was part of the plan.

Little sisters. Why were they such a pain?
Daphne nearly jumped out of her chair as Rhonwen began speaking to her. The silence had been broken so abruptly and Daphne had not been expecting it. She really didn't care to have her sister bothering her right now, and perhaps if it were anyone other than Rhonwen, Daphne may have relished in the fact that she had a distraction to provide an excuse to procrastinate her studying. Unfortunately, this came in the form of her pint-sized little sister... or at least that was what Daphne would have thought of her if Rhonwen was shorter... or if she herself was taller. However, as it was, Daphne could hardly call this girl her little sister.
"What is it, Rhonwen?" Daphne hissed under her breath. She wasn't being particularly nice, though she likely would have been much more polite in her tone had Rhonwen not mentioned her makeup. Of course, Daphne didn't mind the boyish comment. It was the truth and she had come to accept it, what, with her being so exceptionally talented in Quidditch and all.
"Can I help you with something, or do you just want to destroy some more of my new clothes? I finally get nice new winter clothes and you just get so jealous you have to burn them."

Upon hearing this reminder of her previous flop, Rhonwen frowned before crossing her arms over her chest and pouting. The girl hadn't told them the real reason why their clothes had been burned, rather saying that it had been a mishap. It wasn't as if they would believe her anyway, considering her track record. Though she had tried to fix them by using some of her knitting skills, but it hadn't helped. The winter attire was still a mess, and she was still in trouble for it. Her mother had even scolded her and punished her for it.
"I said I was sorry! I tried to fix them, even if they looked alittle ragged. Its the thought that counts right? Can't I at least get that in my favor? Pleaseeeee!? You don't have to be so sore about it. It was an accident! I can't help it when mistakes happen!!"
Looking down towards the book, the girl then refocused her gaze back towards her sibling as she tried to see if she could get a better look at the potions within.
"Anywho...I just wanted to see what you were doing....And I needed help with something. Its very very very very very important. I mean that! If I don't get help I might be dead! Very dead!!"

Daphne slowly closed her potions book shut and pushed it a few inches in front of her on the table. She wanted her sister to see that she was giving her her undivided and complete attention, especially considering the dire nature of this situation Rhonwen had proclaimed herself to be dealing with. She turned around and finally looked at her sister. Daphne's eyebrow was raised, evincing a peak in interest.
"You still have yet to tell me what the problem is," Daphne said. She clasped her fingers together in wait.

Rhonwen took a deep breath, calming herself down as her mother had always told her. Her parents had always known she would be an overly excited child. In this, they always seemed to tell her to take a deep breath when she had to say something important, making her less likely to spill it all out in one long rant. This action usually worked, keeping her down to a minimum of a few sentences. Of course, this wasn't always the case.
"I need help with a potion and if I don't get help with it than I fail! If I fail, I'll get get out and if I get kicked out than I'll get in trouble and trouble is bad! Bad, bad very bad!!"
Falling down on her knees, the girl held up her hands towards her sister with a pleading look on her face.
"Pleaseeeeee with a cherry on top and sprinkles!!"

"What potion is it?" Daphne sighed. She had never liked potions much, after all, and now here her sister was asking for help with potions. Perhaps it would serve as a good refresher, to help her sister with potions. However, her sister was only working on First Year potions and those weren't particularly useful skills. Daphne had mastered most of that level, at least by her sixth year.
"And get off your knees. Don't humiliate yourself," Daphne added, before Rhonwen could even give her an answer. Quite frankly, she didn't like to see her sister on the ground like that.

"Ohhhhhhhhhhhhh!! Thank you thank you thank you! You're the best big sis!! The super best!"
Quickly jump up, Rhonwen grinned as she then began to think of what potion it was that she meant. Of course, she already had a potion in mind, but she didn't need her to know that. After all, she couldn't very well tell the very reason why she needed to know the ingredients for this potion. If anything, Daphne would likely tell her to grow up or scold her. Or in the worse case, tell their parents. Either way, Rhonwen believed that playing ignorant was the best idea.
"Ok! Well..I need to learn how to make the Laugh Inducing Potion. I also want to learn how to make a voice changing potion. One that can make someone...sound like a frog? That isn't too hard is it? Even if it is, you can help me! You're super smart! Very very smart!"

Daphne's eyebrow curled upward when she saw her sister's ecstatic reaction. Really? When did she say that she agreed to help her? Daphne didn't recall doing anything other than asking her which potion she needed help with. Her sister's reaction alone was almost making her reconsider.
"Well, if it's for school, then which is it?" Daphne asked Rhonwen. It seemed a bit funny that a teacher had made it optional. Daphne didn't remember having such choices in her first year, after all.
"Surely your teacher doesn't expect you to make both."

A blank expression appeared on her face, silencing Rhonwen quickly. She had made a major goof. Why did she have to mention two potions? All she needed was one. This wasn't good, she could almost see that her sister was getting suspicious. How could she get out of it? There had to be a way that she wasn't thinking of. With a big grin and a red face, the young witch waved both her hands in front of her as she shook her head quickly.
"No no no! Of course not! Hehehe Its just that I wanted to try and impress her by doing two. You know, to show how good I was. That way, she would give me a lot more slack on some things and all that. Of course, if you can't help me with two, one is fine. One is great! Perfect in fact! Why was I trying to do two anyway!? Stupid! So stupid of me...Just one potion! The...um...Laugh inducing one!"
Keeping her grin, the red haired girl was mention sighing in relief. She had just saved herself, though she wasn't sure if it had worked or not. If anything, she might just have to deal with some more questioning. But perhaps she could handle it. After all, Daphne would want her out of her hair more than anything else.
