It is the year 1993. The Wizarding World is at peace. Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardy is no exception. However, despite the occurrence of these peaceful times, there has been an unnatural increase in the population of squibs (non-magical children of wizarding parents) which has caused many witches and wizards, particularly purists, to become frightened for the future of Wizarding Kind. Many argue that this increase is due to Muggleborns being allowed to merge with the Wizarding Community. Many have pushed for the banishment of muggleborns from Wizarding Society. Some purists believe that Muggleborn genes taint the purity of wizarding blood and create squibs after generations. Other purists go as far as to blame muggleborns for directly stealing the magic which rightfully belongs to squibs. Regardless, no such banishment has occurred as of yet, and muggleborns are still being permitted into Hogwarts. In addition, a new Headmaster has been placed in charge of Hogwarts, and as consequence appointment, the Dark Arts have become a part of Hogwarts curriculum. Tension rises at Hogwarts, particularly between muggleborn and pureblood communities. Which side will you take?
