His mother is a stay at home mom as she didn’t want to arouse suspicion from her husband. His father is an accountant who hoped that his son would one day. At the age of five, he learned that his mother was a witch when he saw her using magic to clean the living room, which led to a huge conversation between his parents as his mother had left that out during the relationship. She said that she didn’t want to complicate thing with the idea of magic. Guess the idea of having a magical kid didn’t cross her mind. At the age of nine, his parents took him to the local zoo, where Alex saw his first Rhinoceros. He was quite taken in by the creature as he read on the description plaque that they spend half the day eating, a third of the day sleeping and the rest of the day doing various other things. At the age of ten, his parents (mainly his mother) bought Alex his first broom, which he used on four occasions that included the day it was given to him and when his mother wanted to show off her flying skills by eluding him. Like every young wizard, Alex was sent to Hogwarts at the age of eleven. His first year was filled with learning a great deal of things that his mother refused to teach him on the grounds that magic would only keep him from socializing with others, which turned out to be true. Alex spent most of the time asleep in the library. During the summer between his second and third year, Alex went on a camping trip with his father, his father’s buddies and their kids. It was on this trip that Alex got attack by an animal that was later identified as a werewolf by his mother. From then on, he had to learn to cope with being infected. By his third year, Alex’s mother threatened to make him clean out and reorganize the garage when he was home if he didn’t start making some friends, so he gradually began talking to people. It was difficult as he was keeping the fact that he was a werewolf secret from everyone so that it would seem like nothing had changed. During his fourth year, Alex tried out for the Quidditch team, but he didn’t make it as he never practiced flying. Definitely something that he chose not to tell his mother, so Alex instead focused on transfiguration which seemed to be something that he had a knack for.
